Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Nyack, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across New York run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. Typical hours are 5β9 pm. It is closed on Monday, Tuesday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Karenderya at (845) 875-7557; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is karenderyany.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 334 reviews, which is a strong result for a filipino restaurant in Nyack and suggests consistent service.
Nyack is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Nyack follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Incredible Filipino food! We had the kare kare, tamarind wings, and the ribs , every single thing was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The kare kare had that rich, nutty peanut sauce done right, the tamarind wings hit that perfect sweet-tangy balance, and the ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender. The Bihon noodles was a hit too. My son loved the sou chicken wings. Canβt wait to come back and work through the rest of the menu. Highly recommend!

I remember coming here when they first opened and their food, quality, and service have never wavered. If anything, theyβve gotten better. Iβve had almost everything on their menu at this point and look forward to new additions and specials. They do have liquor (no byob) in case you were wondering. Everyone Iβve brought here has become a repeat customer. Iβve even had one of my parties catered by Karenderya!

Karenderya is among the best and only Filipino spots in Rockland, and it has fair prices and delicious food. The service was pretty slow (entrees took almost an hour to come out), but the staff were friendly and they seemed pretty busy and understaffed overall. We got there around noon on a Sunday, and there were still plenty of tables, but it got busier as the day went on. We got the Lumpiang Shanghai as an appetizer which was solid and flavorful. I also got the Adobo Pork Belly Garlic Fried Rice Bowl. It costs extra for the garlic fried rice, but itβs definitely worth itβ it kicked up the savory flavors to a new level. The pork belly was a little salty for my taste, but super tender, well-marinated, and full of flavor. All the bowls seemed really good, and Iβd highly recommend themβ my mom got the Beef Tapa Garlic Rice Bowl, and the beef was similarly delicious, tender, and well-marinated. We also got the Biko (sticky rice cake) & Turon (banana lumpia) for dessertβ both of which were delicious. I especially enjoyed the bikoβ it was sticky with perfect hints of sweet coconut flavor. β Price (relative to peers): 4.5/5 Food: 4.5/5 Ambience: 4.5/5 Service: 4.5/5 Overall Value: 4.5

Delicious food! Great service and chill atmosphere. I really like the vibe of this place. Itβs laid back, and everyone was all smiles. Very friendly atmosphere. There was a little play corner where my son made a friend. The bathroom had a baby changing table too. We ordered vegetable lumpia and crispy tofu with peanut sauce to get started. It was freshly fried and nice and hot. Then had the pansit and ginataang vegetable- both were delicious and flavorful. For dessert halo halo and Biko, which brought my wife to nostalgia heaven lol. The calamansi juice was a sweet surprise. Weβll definitely be back- our bellies couldnβt fit everything we wanted to try.
